Eleonora Bendi is an Italian documentary and architecture photographer based in Hamburg who accepts commissions worldwide.

After a bachelor in biology at La Sapienza University in Rome, in 2004 she started to study at the Italian Institute of Photography (IIF) in Milan. She has a master’s degree in Creative Documentary & Photojournalism in partnership with Magnum Photos & Spéos in Paris. She attended seminars at Ostkreuzschule in Berlin. She has been a freelance photographer since 2014.

Her work explores landscape, environmental issues, and urban development, emphasising industrial areas. With meticulousness and patience, her distinctive aesthetic and perspective, she succeeds in presenting the qualities of the architecture building and allows the viewer to create their own picture through loving observation of details.
